Favorite Cereal? Angell-Os

It's been a while since I last posted, sorry about that, but I'm back at it and won't leave so much time between posts anymore. In spirit of potentially going to see Steve Angello on Friday, and to see whether or not my friends want to go, today's post is going to be very Angello-fied to show off his good shit. Although he's MUCH better live than his tracks show in my opinion!
Who the fuck is Steve Angello?
A third of Swedish House Mafia (you'll see a song of theirs later, the biggest hit of this summer "One") along with Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell. A half-Greek half-Swedish DJ known as one of the top in the field, with a shit load of awards recently and other impressive stuff that I won't go into detail about, that's what Wikipedia is for!
My favorite song here is probably "Partouze (Jean Elan Remix)", just for that drop at 4:22, it's madness I tell you, MADNESS.

(One thing to keep in mind with this song, is the drop at 1:28, will literally give your ears the loving and satisfaction they so properly desire when it drops on good speakers or good headphones, that bass is a vibrating massage waiting to happen)

(This is one of my preferred remixes of "In for the Kill" by La Roux, Steve Angello combines the two different songs very well I think)

(This could easily be regarded as the song of this summer, at "Electric Zoo" the electro festival in New York earlier this year, this was the most played track and the encore at the end of the two-day festival. It's just a hit.)

(It's all fun and games, and then it hits the build up until the drop at 4:22, then it becomes a complete wasteland, ideal for your dancing and auditory needs, you dirty listener you. I also think that drop is very reminiscent of Wolfgang Gartner, oh, and atomic destruction too)

Wemicks

No posts since last Wednesday so today this is my 2nd post, 2nd post, 'cause I'm nice like that! You don't even have to say thank you, it's my duty.
And today I have some good remixes for you!
One remix of a sick popular techno hit, and two of a less popular song, but not less appeasing to your ears' feelings.
Also, in case you didn't get it
Wemicks = Remix, in baby terms.

(Kaskade is well respected by many techno heads, as are Swedish House Mafia - house heads if you prefer. So Kaskade's mix of the summer hit "One" has big shoes to fill considering the reputations of them both, and it provides, vocals matching the beat in a sick way)

(This is my preferred remix of "Sweet Disposition", really bubbly and happy sounding, almost surrounds you like a field of neon bobbing daisies? Kna mean?)

(This is probably the more known remix of "Sweet Disposition", it's pretty good but in my opinion it's less of a remix, more of a song sampling the vocals at certain points, it's still good though, don't get me wrong. OR I'LL GET YOU WRONG)

Electric Zoo Day 2

After having had the minute of silence for those who were lost on 9/11 (if I really got into talking about it, this would turn into an emotional rant rather than an optimistic music blog), now you can have many minutes of music filled enjoyment!
New York Love

This is the Day 2 post, so it features the artists we heard on the second day of E.Zoo (in chronological order), lots of wild electricity ahead!
*SONG OF THE ZOO* means it's a song that was played by numerous DJs and heard frequently throughout Electric Zoo
*King of the Jungle* is the best DJ of the Zoo in my opinion. (Mobymobymoby!)
"The Song of the Zoo" is the song that was played most!

Day Two

Laidback Luke
(Laidback Luke was seriously killing it, but I didn't get to see that much of his set. BLAU!)

MOBY
*King of the Jungle*
(Moby is the king. He was playing a DJ Set so mostly not his own shit, and he came at us with some SERIOUS dubstep. These are the only two songs I knew that he played, and most people didn't know any. Fucking amazing. He was the best of the Zoo easily in my opinion)

(MOBYSTEP > ALL)

Boyz Noize
(This was his first or one of his first songs, crushed it)

(I remember this shit, dopedopedope)

(Dope song, Boyz Noize killed it, don't even think he played this)

(Sick shit too)

A-Trak
*SONG OF THE ZOO*
(Great song, got stuck in my head forever. The two drops are dope as hell, at 2:28 and 3:41)

Wolfgang Gartner
(Wolfgang was playing some nasty shit, really good stuff, sound system wasn't as great as the others, but this song really got the crowd hype, you can hear why)

Steve Aoki
(He's in the motherfucking house. And he was in the tent. And we all loved it. Not much else to say, killer)

(I don't even want to talk about this song because I missed it 'cause I was accompanying someone to the bathroom.. It speaks for itself. Quick story: My friend Jon lost his shoe when the song started playing, crowd went in a full mosh circle, and he landed back on his shoe... Sick shit)

*SONG OF THE ZOO*
(This song was played numerous times throughout Zoo, fucking dope stuff. Showed to me by Caveman of Ravemen a while ago. Ravemen approved!)

Bassnectar
(Bassnectar likes bass, and he uses it extremely well. This song is one of my favorite finds in a while. He's sick.)

(It'll blow your fucking face off, nuff said.)

Armin Van Buuren
(Armin played this, pretty good, but I'm not really a big fan of trance music when it's not live... But yeah, pretty good shit! The classical music part a bit in is dope)

(Again, trance = eh for me, but this is pretty good, and Armin is nasty live)

The Song of the Zoo
(This is quite easily the song of the entire Zoo. Heard it four times at least, and then it was the fucking ENCORE at the end of Armin's set. The song of the zoo. No competition. My vote for song of the summer too.)
