But I'm Fine

Tough Sunday yo, maybe not for you guys, but for me, I got mad work to do and shit, but, I gotchu with some ill tracks to keep you going.
A newish rap song I'm sure you haven't heard yet, as well as the legendary song it reminds me of.
And a techno bumpfest to round it all off.
Get your ears wet.

("So go ahead and cry me a river, I'ma build a canoe" I really dig this track, clever lyrics in my opinion, a nice slow flow that's smooth on the beat, to be honest, it reminds me of "Stan" by Eminem in terms of how the chorus works and the beat and overall slow rhythm, kna mean?!)

/\ Sorry if this makes you cry, I apologize deeply

(In case you don't already have it, here's the legendary, and I mean LEGENDARY song "Stan" that I said "Never Gonna be My Friend" reminded me of it. Different subject matter, but common theme you know? Like sadness and shit. Haha, but really, this song is too good to not have, so just download if it's not in your library)

This is the techno one, so you can mourn with "Never Gonna be My Friend" and "Stan", but then get over that shit cause let's face it, you're in the fucking house.

(There's not even much to say about this track, it's just an electric song that does what it's meant to do and doesn't play around, it's not a little kid, it's a big boy track, step out of the sandbox and into the cardboard box you dirty homeless musichead - fresh build up, fresh drop, out of the box and now you're in the fucking house!)

More Eminem Remixes

I gotta put some more Eminem remixes, just because they're interesting and worth a listen to for the sake of hearing the potential of music genres being twisted and manipulated, and if you're into DJing then these might be of special interest to you because it's a way to drop in some good classic rap during a set.

This is a remix of the popular "Harder Better Faster Stronger" song by Daft Punk (yeah France!) with the afore-aforementioned "Without Me" by Eminem, it works pretty well and is a cool remix of two popular tracks. Not so much a fan of the chorus again, but that's just me.
This song isn't amazing in terms of the remix but is a good example of the potential of Drum n Bass, a genre that I love and learned of last year (along with Dubstep, I'm somewhat of a newcomer).
The other day I was talking to my good friend Tom about Drum n Bass' importance and permanence as a musical genre because it encompasses its own specific type of tempo/rhythm which is dope and how it can be weaved in and used with different genres and might be used throughout different genres more frequently in the future (that could be siick) (yes I know i misspelt sick, the added i was for added enthusiasm).
Anyway, this is a soft Drum n Bass remix of "Lose Yourself" by Eminem and worth a listen to.

Ghostwriteage

So, now to post something more recently found. Today I was looking up remixes of Eminem songs because I had a nostalgic moment reminiscing over "Without Me" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVkUvmDQ3HY - That's the video for it, good stuff).
The point, is that I found a couple very sick remixes of his songs that I am going to show soon.

Now, if you don't know Rjd2, familiarize yourself with his song "Ghostwriter" because it is a sick example of skill in musical creation. (Yes, this will tie into Eminem remixes in case you're getting antsy)

Next up, is the remix of Eminem's "Lose Yourself" with the aforementioned "Ghostwriter", I titled it on my itunes as "Ghostwrite Yourself" (yeah I combined it). It's a sick remix, but I'm not so much a fan of how the chorus fits in.

Continuing the Eminem remix spree is this song, a remix of the aforementioned
"Without Me" by Eminem with some Yoshi music. It's really cute (I won't deny it isn't the
most badass piece of music I've listened to.) The verse at around 1:02 starts adorably,
don't you just want to have Eminem babysit your kids?!
