From Gangster in the Car, to Gangster Just Got Home

Bouta round off the last Hip Hop bumpin' post,
with a chiller, mellower Hip Hop post,
headlined by my man Talib Kweli
and a Love Song dedicated section headlined by the man Kev Brown,
shown to me by Matt Infangay,
along with a bonus love song/dope track by the Procussions.

Talib Kweli
Talib Kweli is the man, no doubt about it, heard him at Rock the Bells in '08 and he's the sickest performer too, one of my favorite rappers of all time.
"We keeping it gangster say "fo shizzle", "fo sheezy" and "stayin crunk"
Its easy to pull a breezy, smoke trees, and we stay drunk"
(One of the most classic Kweli tracks, he kills it and this song is just great)

"Bangin' on the system, fighting my kind of war,
Loud as a whisper, quiet as a lion's roar"
(Another Kweli classic)

"Yeah, you pronounce my name Kweli, any questions?"
(One of my favorite Kweli tracks, the beginning is madd cute, no lie)

"I wish I could talk to Lauryn, I mean excuse me Ms. Hill,
and let her know how much we love her, it's real"
(One of the more beautiful tracks by Talib, dope ode to the queen Lauryn Hill

Kev Brown / Love Songs
"Crazy, where they come off at? I'm about to start lettin' these broads know off the bat,
if you ain't bringing nothin' to the table then leave,
give a dude room to breathe, then maybe you can receive
somethin' real instead of the fix,
somethin you feel and appreciate, worth the wait"
(9th Wonder did both tracks but this is the original production, it's a dope track, good lyrics and girl drama song, a sick joint)

(Much of the same, both beats are dope, and obviously the lyrics stay dope)

"We never hung out that much, but still,
when we did hang out the whole vibe was chill,
I miss your good night kisses for real"
(Another love track, this one is equally as good as "Always" with a smooth chill beat and fresh lyrics and flow, GET ON IT!)

Bonus Love Song
"Never displayed hope,
love was a lame joke,
a black comedy written just to entertain folks"
(Just a good track, fact. Also about love so continuing that trend. And I know the Procussions hate music piracy, but this shit is fresh bird, get it? Ill Eagle, illegal. For the ill pirated shit!)
